... When we reached to the sales-office, I explained to both my mum and my 2nd aunt that the unit I bought is 3 + 1 type which comes with 3 bedrooms and 1 maid/utility room. My aunt continued to ask me more about the type that I have bought, but my mum asked me something else:-
Tiu's mum :: "Son, you kidding me only, right?? You haven't bought the house, true??"
Tiuniasing :: "Mum, I've already bought it.
Tiu's mum :: "You haven't signed any agreement yet, right??"
Tiuniasing :: "Already signed everything. The bank has also approved the loan."
Tiu's mum :: "You're pulling my legs only, right?? I know you like kidding with me. Tell me you haven't bought it. Hehee..."
Tiuniasing :: "Mum, how many times do I need to tell you that I've bought one unit here?? I've signed all the agreements needed, bank loan agreement, S & P, everything and everything!!"
Tiu's mum :: "You still can pull back, am I right?? Just forget about the house, my good son. You can always go for a landed property with that price."
Tiuniasing :: "No, there is no way to go back already. I've paid RM40K as downpayment for this house."
Tiu's mum :: "I still don't believe it."
Then Sarsi, the girl who attended me the first time I went to the sales office, came in.
Sarsi :: "Ha, you are here. Hey, so far the development progress is on track. I'm glad for you because you've made the right choice. We have just confirmed with the suppliers on the tiles, they are gonna supply the highest grade one for us. It's a good news. Congrats!!"
Tiu's mum :: "Lady, he has not bought one, right??"
Tiuniasing :: "Sarsi, this is my mum. She is the blocking stone all this while, hmm... Not a stone but a rock to me."
Sarsi :: "Auntie, he has bought it ah. He has signed everything already. If you don't believe, by the end of this year, you can come and withness the passing keys to the owners ceremony."
My mum fainted hearing that. But I tiu her also no time!! That's how I bought my dream house for my dreamhome!!

wahlieu eh, hahaha ur mom really very insisting u not get the house hor, but sometimes cannot listen one, must act as own will. if regret later then nvm lo, it's still our own decisions.
i want to get condo later on, and alot of ppl say no no no, i know all the cons but i still want to get it because of privacy. I think condos are really very nice if you find those facing the right ways and not too noisy.
hmm..i agree wit wat bam said above..will u listen to ur mom if ur mom tell u not to tiu a gal b4 marry? sumtime ur decision is the rite 1.. to us younger generation,why need a landed property..not u r going to gardening there and every evening can see u watering plant there.. lol
Hmm... well, one thing about landed property is it's reselling price. Anyway it all depends on your own preference.

I agree with you. If one day you regret with your purchase, you still can shift to something else. I'd see it as needs. Actually I hate to use the word "regret" here. I'd say different stage of life have got different type of preferences.
When I come to a stage where I think a landed house is more suitable for me, I still can make a switch. I don't see any problem with it.

dude, that's very true. I also agree with bam. I need privacy, and I don't need the land for planting my own veges and I'm not having a chicken farm for my daily meals. I don't need a land at all.

that's very true, landed property has a better reselling price. But I think what I want for my dream house can't be found on a landed double storey. I hate and lazy to go upstairs for changing. Damn it double storey!!

so weird.. my parents encouraged my brother to buy mont kiara solaris. which is not landed. i think landed or not landed is not important, as long as the property's value will appreciate. or u just simply love the house and dont bother about the price depreciation or appreciation
