Bayan Villa, Bukit Ikhlas - 1
It has been a year plus since I signed the Sales and Purchase agreement for a unit of Bayan Villa townhouse at Bukit Ikhlas, Bukit Serdang. The completion date as promised was due long time ago. I was expecting to move in last year as I was told that the completion was June 2007. Then I was given another completion date which was December 2007 and again, I got disappointed. I think many Bayan Villa purchasers have the same issue as I do and all of them have got du lan with it, so do I.Recently, I realised that the Bayan Villa purchasers have setup a community website mainly for them to discuss about Bukit Ikhlas. I am now a member of it. Ijust checked through all their discussions in the community. It seems like the purchasers are no any better than me. All of them are concerned with the delay issue and some are really pissed with it. Some went to the authority offices to enquire and check the background of the developer, Bukit Ikhlas; Some checked the Profit & Loss of Bukti Ikhlas through SSM, and a lot more, which are good for them.
Recently, someone from the community calling all other purchasers to gather at Bukit Ikhlas sales office to have a talk with the management people, the boss to be exact. But as you know, bosses are not easy to be met or seen by everyone otherwise they won't be called bosses, am I right?? Therefore, they failed to meet any top people from the developer. They failed in their mission but they never gave up. They were busy looking for another plan and so hopeful to confront the Bukit Ikhlas management.
Until some time last week, the COO of Bukit Ikhlas posted a long post in the community. The objective of the COO's post is to comfort us, the purchasers by explaining to us about the progress of Bayan Villa. Actually, like all other purchasers, I worry that the recent fuel price hike will seriously hit Bukit Ikhlas due to all construction materials prices are increasing. I'm afraid that the developer will have to trim the project by replacing with poorer quality materials, and if worst comes to worst the project will be abandoned.
I am still considering if I should reveal the contents of the COO's post.

I"m also a purchaser. Not aware of the community website, will register myself after this. Looks like they are progressing quite well though, work is still going on at the site

I agree with you, the work progress is going quite well and hopefully we can move in happily together by early of next year.

was just wondering if you could tell me more about the project. actually i went there twice recently. Loved the concept... didn't really know the project started long ago. was considering buying but it is quite expensive though for seri kembangan. probably the low density thing and hill within greens etc etc and da name villa gave made it expensive. tried to log into the community website too but have not been approved. What do you think huh? I'm planning to buy a new property near that area... anyway, i heard the project will be completed this year end. and CFs should be out by mid 2009... progressing well and the website is updated...
